Details of the Movie and a Magazine Fundraising Program
How Does It Work?
When a Supporter makes a donation of $20.00, they will receive a free Gift Card for a classic DVD movie and an annual magazine subscription. (a $35 value for their $20 donation) The Supporter fills out the Gift Card with their name and address, selects the DVD movie and annual magazine subscription from 60 movies and 100 magazines, and mails the completed Gift Card to our company, Flix for Fundraising, in Florida. The company then mails the DVD movie and magazines to the Supporter's home.
Your group will net a profit of $8.00 per Gift Card (40%) and we will ship 5% of the number of Gift Cards ordered in free cards. (The sale of the free Gift Cards, a $20.00 profit each, would bring the net profit to 45%.)
How Much Profit Can Your Group Earn?
Review the chart at the bottom of this page to determine how much profit your group will earn from this program according to the number of participants and Gift Cards distributed per participant. Remember, your group earns $8.00 per Gift Card distributed plus, as a bonus, you receive free gift cards (5% of your order) that you can distribute for a profit of $20.00 each. As an example, a group of 100 participants distributes just 20 Gift Cards each, will earn a profit of $16,000 for the 2000 cards plus $2000 for the 100 free cards for a total profit of $18,000. (Some groups use the free cards as prizes for their participants.)
Decision to Run Program
Once your group decides on Movie and a Magazine, our program director will provide you with an agreement. The agreement will ask for your name, group name, address, phone, number of Gift Cards ordered, an approximate number of participants and a signature. At that time, if you have decided to personalize the Gift Card, you may provide a digital photograph of the group and / or logo and include the wording you would like to have on the front and back of the card. When the company receives the agreement, information, and photograph, your cards will be printed and delivered to you within 14 to 21 days.
There are no up-front costs, no printing or setup fees, no inventory to store, no customer service issues and you have more than enough time to complete your fundraising campaign before your payment is due.(45 days from the date you receive the cards).
Number of Cards to Order
It is difficult for us to forecast the number of Gift Cards your organization can distribute. However, we can tell you that we have seen groups of 500 participants distribute just 4-5 cards each and groups of 30 participants distribute 20 cards each or more. Please remember that your personalized Gift Cards are very appealing to your supporters and unlike paying 2 or 3 times the actual value of the fundraising item, they receive a greater value in return for their donation.
